To Create Liquid Perfection
With increased demand and a need for high production capacity, a local honey producer—through Dairy Cool—reached out to us for a second time to provide a heating solution to support an additional warming room in their plant. Consistent, temperature-controlled warmth is essential in honey production, allowing the honey to maintain its smooth, liquid state without affecting its natural enzymes and flavour. This controlled warmth ensures that the honey reaches the perfect consistency, preserving quality and creating liquid perfection.
Installer: Dairy CoolAfter experiencing the comfort of underfloor heating powered by our reliable, Japanese-made Chofu heat pump in their other honey hot room, the customer chose to install the same solution in a new space. By looking the load of the space, the quantity of product that needed to be heated and the timeframe and temperature it needed to be heated to and held at, our skilled commercial engineering team assessed the needs, designing an ideal heating layout that includes 800 meters of Multitubo underfloor heating pipe. The system is divided into 12 strategically placed loops, all connecting to our ITAP manifolds. Powered by two 10kW Chofu Air-to-Water Heat Pumps, the system efficiently pumps heated water through the piping, warming the concrete slab and radiating heat throughout the room.
Our heating system is a reliable solution for honey and other process heating needs. It provides the controlled warmth required to support honey production, ensuring the rich, golden perfection honey lovers crave. With our system, honey producers can gently heat honey drums up to 38 degrees, which is critical for slowly melting the honey without causing any damage to its natural enzymes. This gentle heating process not only allows for ease of packaging but has also been shown to not increase its MHF (hydroxy methyl furfural), ensuring that it retains the rich, golden perfection that honey lovers cherish.
